Carolyn rode the Liberty of the Seas cruise ship to Cozumel with other writers and enjoyed delicious dishes, including chilled strawberry soup, saw ancient buildings, and learned about writing. She also spoke about Finding Time for Your Dream, time management for writers. One of the highlights was a trip to Tulume to see the ruins of an ancient walled city with its temples, homes and giant lizards. Standing beside the highest temple, she could look down  upon azure sea and white sands where bathers soaked up sun and walked in cool waters as the surf rolled in.
